Fleming’s Steakhouse Menu Basics

Fleming's Steak House Menu and Prices

There are several big, juicy steaks on the Fleming’s Steakhouse menu. These average around $50 each, which is a staggering amount of money for a fairly affordable casual dining chain, but one that is to be expected when big steaks are on the menu.

One of the most expensive steaks on the menu is the Dry-Aged Prime Ribeye, which offers 16 ounces of succulent, flavorful meat. Like all steaks on the Fleming’s Steakhouse menu, it is lightly seasoned and then served, letting the meat do the talking.

This is not the biggest steak on the menu. That comes in the shape of a 20oz Bone-In Ribyeye. Just make sure you leave room for sides, as these are much cheaper and just as nice. Some of our favorite menu items besides the steaks are:

  • Double-Cut French Fries: These are served in a big basket, perfect for sharing. There is a large amount of fries, more than enough for two people to pile on the side of their plates as they tuck into the steaks on offer.
  • Fleming’s Potato: Also available in sharing size, these are one of the specialties of the house. They come with cream, cheese and plenty of spice. If you can handle the heat then these go great with steak. However, they are also much more calorific than the traditional fries and it’s easy to fill up on these and not leave any room for anything else.
  • The New Wedge: This is a fresh, salty and meaty salad–the perfect way to start your meal at Fleming’s Steakhouse. It combines grape tomatoes with crispy onions, caramelized bacon and blue cheese.

Fleming’s Steakhouse Prices Compared

As you can see from our Fleming’s Steakhouse Menu Prices above, this is big food and there are some big prices to go along with it. After all, this is not cheap frozen beef from McDonalds. They use the highest quality USDA certified beef and everything else on the menu is just as good. When you factor that in, it’s very reasonable for what you get and is roughly in line with top casual dining chains like Outback Steakhouse.

The Fleming’s Steakhouse menu is a little more expensive than many other top chains we have covered on this site, including Bonefish Grill and The Melting Pot. This is not just because of the steak either. You will also pay around $10 per side and per salad, and even the cheaper items on the menu cost around $20 each. As a result, it’s not uncommon to spend in excess of $100 per person when eating at this chain, with a family or group meal setting you back hundreds of dollars.

Fleming’s Steakhouse Deals

Fleming's Steak House Menu and Prices
There are a number of specials on the Fleming’s Steakhouse menu. These are typically only available for a short time, often during key holidays. They lump together some popular menu items into a two-course or three-course meal and attach a relatively low price for all of them. For instance, in the past there have been $49.99 three course specials that contain menu items that typically cost in excess of $70 when bought separately.

One of the best times to get deals like this is on Valentine’s Day. This is when Fleming’s Steakhouse is at its most popular because its quiet, relaxed atmosphere, it’s high quality food and its impeccable service makes it a popular choice for romantic dinners. Of course, it isn’t easy to get a table at this chain on Valentine’s Day. They are typically booked out weeks in advance, even though you can often get a table at the last minute on other days of the year.

There are also specials for Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Christmas and pretty much every other holiday that can be somehow made relevant. There are a great deal of Food Holidays that tie-in with Fleming’s Steakhouse, but with so many promotions available on standard public holidays, you don’t really need them.

Many of the deals during these holidays can be got simply by booking a table and picking up a menu. You will find the info on the menu and the server will also clarify for you. However, there are also some coupons that allow you to get a little extra, whether in the form of some free wine on Valentine’s Day, some free sides on Mother’s Day, or a discount off your entire meal on other holidays.

Fleming’s Steakhouse Coupons

Fleming’s Steakhouse coupons aren’t exactly readily available. They do exist, but they are few and far between. We generally find that the higher the price of the food and the higher the class of experience, the fewer coupons you will find. So while you might find many for “cheap and cheerful” chains like Sonic and White Castle, you won’t find a great number of them here.

You may be able to get some discounts on their drink’s list on National Wine Day and you can also find deals on certain days, as mentioned above. But you won’t find many coupons on deals sites and will have to keep an eye on Fleming’s Steakhouse social media pages to see what’s available. Every now and then they link to some deal and coupons, often during specific holidays or milestones.
